Energy Flexibility for a Sustainable Future

Innovative Solutions for Renewable Integration and Energy Efficiency

Unlocking Energy Flexibility for a Zero-Carbon Future

FlexBIT (Flexibility Exploitation for Residential, Tertiary, and Industrial Buildings) is an ambitious European project developed under the CETPartnership Joint Call 2023. The project is dedicated to advancing energy system flexibility and accelerating the transition to a zero-carbon future. By addressing the challenges of integrating 100% renewable energy sources, FlexBIT develops innovative solutions for seamless system integration, unlocking hidden flexibility potential, and enhancing energy efficiency across multiple sectors.

The project focuses on building a robust digital platform that leverages cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain, and advanced energy storage systems. FlexBIT enables the dynamic management of energy flows, ensuring cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and resilience in diverse energy communities.

A Transnational Collaboration for Scalable Energy Solutions

With funding support from local funding agencies, FlexBIT unites partners from Germany, Italy, Malta, Poland, and Greece in a transnational collaboration. The project includes seven demonstrators deployed in these countries, showcasing scalable, real-world solutions for energy communities. Together, we are shaping a sustainable and resilient energy ecosystem for Europe and beyond.
